Focus Web Design was born from an idea to use already gained web design skills to help out small businesses and make some money at the same time.
Focus Web Design's founder and general manager, Tim Malone, started web designing at an early age. He was just 11 when his family first connected to the Internet, and he already had a growing interest in computers. He started his own personal website, then went on to building websites with his friends, including an online community for kids around the world (called "Net4Kids"), and an information site for people learning various computer programming languages.
In 2002, Tim decided to start designing websites for small businesses. He started with a simple website for a local physiotherapy practice that he knew, then a website for the primary school he used to attend. The name "Focus Web Design" was created and registered, and a new business was born.
In 2005 Focus was bought by Graham Osborne, owner and manager of Bilby Graphics a local website/graphic design business. Graham has a background of Graphic Design and 8 years of Web Design and very keen to build on the excellent work that Tim has done in starting this business.

Tim's original philosophy for the business stays intact. Focus Web Design is not a business that wants to grow so big that it forgets its customers - we want to remain a small business that looks first not at it's money, but at it's customers. Focus Web Design will stay a small locally owned business that designs simple, affordable, and professional websites that help other small businesses succeed.
