So you've got a website, designed by us or perhaps another designer, and you need to update it quite often. You have people in your organisation who could update it, but don't have the technical knowledge to do so - but you don't want to have to pay us an hourly fee to do all the updates for you.

A solution? Focus Web Design's Content Management System.

To try out the CMS we have set up a demonstration site for you.

Our Content Management System allows you to add, edit and delete pages, images and documents from your website as much as you like. Anyone who can use a word processing program can do it, and for anyone who can't it's a very easy learning curve. You save money because you only pay an installation charge and a small monthly license fee, rather than hourly maintenance fees.

How Much Does It Cost?

A standard installation costs $200 and a license fee of $20 per month is also charged. You can pay this license fee, quaterly, or yearly - it's up to you. Note that installation costs may increase for sites that we do not design or host, if more work is required on our part for the installation (however, in keeping with our guarantees, you will be notified of all costs before work is commenced).

Sites Designed or Hosted Elsewhere

If your site is not designed and hosted by Focus Web Design, we may not be able to install the Content Management System on your site. This is because it may not be compatible with your designer's code, or your web host may not provide the neccessary software to run the system.

If we can install it, extra charges may apply if the installation proves to be complicated. However, we will advise you beforehand of all charges - so you can make an informed decision.

Specifically, the system will not run on sites that use Flash or images for navigation, and will only run on servers that support PHP and MySQL.

The First Step

If you would like to use our Content Management System on your website, if you would like us to check your site to determine it's compatibility, or if you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
